Capturing the magic of christmas and the love within a family is so special. I had the priviledge of capturing those special moments for Kristin, her husband Justin and their two children Quinn and Carter. Taking their family photos at their home was not the original plan but being a photographer and having two young children you always need to be ready to pivot. Kristin and I were going back and forth about the weather as the original location was going to be at Tinicum Park, PA but the weather had different plans. Kristin had asked me if I was willing to come to their home and take the photos there. ABSOLUTELY! I was excited for the new plans and that the family outfits would now be their pjs! When I arrived at their home with all my fake presents in hand, the rain was just beginning to come down. I felt like Mrs. Claus with all the presents and stuff I had brought with me to make this at home session as magical as possible. I remember thinking throughout the entire session, this is what family photos are all about...capturing the spirit of the season, cuddling up to read a christmas story by the tree and just being together. There was no shortage of love, family and christmas magic in that house. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
