Summer Lovin'

Leading up to this session I had had a conversation with my friends Ashley & Amanda (see post) about doing their engagement photos and at that point that would've been my first ever session including people. Justin and Sarah, who over the years we have become great friends, hanging out and even vacationing together at Bethany Beach, DE. We had decided as a friend to take a vacation together in July 2022. I reached out to both Justin and Sarah to ask them if they wouldn't mind being my first models. They couldn't be more excited! That weekend, we ventured out to the bay. Everything was perfect. The weather, the sky, their outfits and of course, them. They just radiate happiness and love for one another that it was easy to direct them and capture their joy. If you are a fellow photographer then you might know what may have happened next. We photographers will almost do anything to get "the picture". Trying to make sure I captured the right moment, I walked right into a rock and cut my foot. You may be wondering, did I get the photo? Of course I did! Having friends like Sarah and Justin be excited and comfortable enough for me to practice with them, I am extremely grateful for. They helped me gain the confidence I needed to begin!
