Friends since Kindergarten
Where to begin! Ashley and I have known each other since we were classmates in Kindergarten at Copper Hill Elementary. We became fast friends and eventually we both joined Girl Scouts to yet again be together! Over the years we would be in the same classes again and see each other weekly for our Girl Scout meetings as well as for other activities. As the years went on and we eventually made our way to 6th grade at Reading-Fleming Middle School, now known as Reading-Fleming Intermediate School our friendship continued even admist the young teen drama. Fast forward a few years we eventually had a few classes together in high school, both on the track to eventually become teachers. As time went on we would only interact through Facebook. As we entered our post college lives, little did we know that our paths would cross again. I was working at RFIS and Ashley was working as a Health & Physical Education teacher in another school. We were both working for the Hunterdon County YMCA and didn't even know it. Once day when we had a full day program, in comes Ashley! We immediately hit it off as if no time had passed. As we continued to hang out together (Jae, included!), the three of us all became close. We would share whatever was going on in our life whether it was to cheer each other on or provide a piece of advice. Then, one day Ashley shared with us that she found someone special. As the months went on Ashley was completely smitten. Ashley soon after decided that Amanda was going to be her forever. In passing I had shared with the girls that I would love to take their engagement photos for fun so I can gain more experience as a photographer. To my excitement, they wanted to formally hire me. I could not be more excited! We decided on two dates to take photos. Working with them was a wonderful experience and we had such fun! I can't wait for the big day in November!
