During the month of December I was promoting Christmas Mini-Sessions in hopes of capturing some Christmas magic between couples and families. When I was contacted by Alivia's mom, whom I worked with for many years for the local YMCA, to do a Christmas mini-session I was thrilled! This session was going to be a gift for Alivia and her fiance, Emily. As soon I pulled up to their property, I knew this was going to be a fun, woodsy experience. I was excited to be photographing another couple in love. Both Alivia and Emily share an adorable dog who clearly loved to run around but also get photographed. I loved the rugged, flannel and farm feel of this session. Working with two such great women and their dog was incredibly fun. We were not afraid to walk through a bit of mud and climb over tree logs to get "the photo". Seeing two people whole-heartedly love each other in such a quiet and comfortable way is inspiring!
